A 17-year-old from Wisconsin has been charged with killing his mother and stepfather—an act that, according to the FBI, was intended to secure the means and freedom necessary to carry out an attack on Donald Trump.

Nikita Casap was arrested in Kansas after being stopped in his stepfather’s stolen SUV, which contained cash, jewelry, weapons, and his parents’ documents.

Shortly before, police had discovered the bodies of Tatiana Casap and Donald Mayer in the family’s home, where they had reportedly been lying for over two weeks.

According to the FBI, Casap’s phone contained a manifesto calling for a “political revolution” and expressing a desire to “save the white race” by assassinating Trump. It also included images of Adolf Hitler and communications with extremist groups such as “The Order of Nine Angles.”

The manifesto further included photos of Adolf Hitler and slogans such as “HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY.”

Court documents reveal that Casap had discussed his plans with a classmate and wrote on Telegram about traveling to Ukraine after the assassination: “So while I’m in Ukraine, I can live a normal life? Even when it’s revealed that I did it?”

He is currently being held on a $1 million bail and is scheduled to appear in court in May, facing charges of both murder and terrorism.
